Envoii Alert Center

The Envoii Alert Center (EAC) application resides in the system tray and provides notification to a user based on pre-defined triggering events. When one of the triggering events has occurred, a notification will be presented to the user on the desktop via a pop-up message. When the user clicks the link presented on the pop-up balloon, the browser will be directed to the serving website, where the user may log in and view the message(s). Only general information and a link will be presented to the user. No private data will be passed.

The EAC provides a secure method for transmitting sensitive, confidential information. An ideal application for the EAC application is within the medical community to comply with HIPAA guidelines. For example, a doctor's office may use the EAC to remind patients about upcoming appointments or to send a reminder that lab results are available. The only data that would be passed with the EAC would be a generic message such as "click here to view lab results" or "click here to view a message from your physician." The patient would simply click the link, log into the serving website and view the confidential message.

EAC

  1. Download the Envoii EAC Demo Installer.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
  3. Click Finish to complete the installation.
    - The EAC application will begin to run from your system tray.
